International Days 2026 at Artevelde UAS in Ghent, Belgium for Business and Management, and Communication, Media & Design

In April 2026, the departments of Business and Management and of Communication, Media and Design at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences are teaming up to invite you, your lecturers and your researchers to

our International Days from April 27-30, 2025.

TEACHING

🔎 We are looking forward to welcoming lecturers and professors who'll lead workshops and seminars on our campus in Ghent. Ideally, their workshop or seminar has a link with their home countries, so our students can have a whole menu of international and intercultural experiences during the International Days.

For teaching, our focus areas are International Business, Trends in Communication, Media & Design, Sustainable Management, AI usage in Communication, Media & Design, Leadership, HR, Interactive Media, Marketing, Strategic communication, Supply Chain, International politics, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Media Entrepreneurship, Project management, Democratic values in journalism, Ethics and journalism, Law, Ethics in Media and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

RESEARCH

🧑‍🔬 This year, we also welcome researchers to participate in our International Days!

Our research focus areas are Labour migration, Inclusive entrepreneurship (female entrepreneurship, migrant entrepreneurship), Protein shift, Food environment, Healthy & sustainable food (systems), Circular business models (supply chain management & financing), Brand experience through social media and content creators, Human-centred design with AI, Smart Retail, Disinformation and youth.

Researchers whose work aligns with our listed research focus areas are invited to share their results through presentations, posters, or workshops. We will also organize collaborative sessions to facilitate brainstorming and the development of new project ideas for upcoming European funding calls. 💡 This event is not just about knowledge exchange; it is also a fantastic networking opportunity. During our International Days you will have the chance to meet international attendants and Artevelde UAS colleagues, with Ghent's historic architecture serving as a beautiful backdrop to your visit.

• Tuesday April 28: get to know Artevelde UAS and the departments of Business and Management and of Communication, Media and Design.
• Wednesday April 29: 

• Teaching days in both departments

• Research day in Business and Management

• Dinner

• Thursday April 30:

• Teaching day in Business and Management 

• Research day and Branding event in Communication, Media and Design 

Participation in our International Days costs €50,00. Be aware that if you need an invoice, you will need to register that on the event page. It is impossible to receive an invoice if you do not confirm that you need one during registration.
