Fitting options voor conductive and mixed hearing losses

Bij deze studiedag krijg je als audioloog een antwoord op volgende vragen:

-    - Waar hou ik rekening mee bij het fitten van transmissie en gemengde gehoorverliezen?
- Wat zijn (contra-)indicaties voor versterking?
- Kies ik voor een aanpassing via lucht- of beengeleiding en waarom?
- Welke beengeleidingssystemen en middenoorimplantaten zijn mogelijk?
- Welke adviezen kan ik opvolgen bij een aanpassing via luchtgeleiding? Waar zitten verschilpunten met een aanpassing via beengeleiding?

Deze studiedag kadert in een internationaal uitwisselingsprogramma van de derdejaarsstudenten. Daarom is de voertaal Engels. Vraagstelling en discussie tijdens de pauze kan natuurlijk in het Nederlands.

13h00  Amplification options in the absence of contraindications for air conduction.
This session compares air and bone conduction options based on characteristics such as dynamic range, fitting formulas, compression, acoustic coupling, feedback, and sound quality. Both the specific features of the pre-selection protocol and those of verification and the evaluation protocol will be discussed.
